These training groups are used for training purposes only. They help ensure each swimmer is being challenged while having fun.
The Coaches will determine the training group best suited for each swimmer.

LITTLE FINS (Developmental Group)

  • Entrance requirements

    • Able to float on front or back without assistance​

    • Able to travel safely a distance of 10 yards unassisted

  • Time Management​

    • 2 - 30 minutes practices per week​

    • Able to successfully Swim 25 yards on Front and Back without assistance​

JUNIOR JAWS (Age Group Level 1)

    • Able to successfully swim 25 yards on front and back without assistance

  • Time Management​

    • 2 - 90 minutes practices per week​

  • Team Commitment​

    • 1 swim meet per season

    • Wear Club gear to school once a week

  • Character, Personal, Social Development​

    • Supporting and respects teammates

    • Controls Emotions at practice

    • Respectful to parents and coaches

    • Good Listening Skills

  • Nutrition Goals​

    • Two servings of vegetables a day​

  • Promotion Expectations​

    • Legal forward start from blocks

    • Flip turns

    • Proper Streamline off walls and starts

    • Swim 100 IM Legally

AQUANAUTS (Age Group Level 2)

    • Swim 100 IM legally

  • Time Management​

    • 3 - 90 minutes practices per week​

  • Team Commitment​

    • 2 Swim Meets per season

    • Wear club gear to school once a week

    • Learns 2 Club Cheers

  • Character, Personal, Social Development​

    • Demonstrate what a good goal for the winter season would be

    • Congratulate swimmers in other lanes after race has completed

  • Nutrition Goals​

    • Understand what a healthy snack is

    • At least two servings of vegtables a day

    • At least one serving of fruit a day

  • Promotion Expectations​

    • 6 x 100 Free on 2 minute comfortably

    • 6 x 100 Flutter Kick on the 2:30

    • 2 events with USA swimming state qualifying times

    • Understands how to use a Pace Clock

WAVE RIDERS (Age Group Levele 3)

  • Entrance requirements

    • 6 x 100 Free on 2 minute comfortably

    • 6 x 100 Flutter Kick on the 2:30

    • 2 events with USA swimming state qualifying times

    • Understands how to use a Pace Clock

  • Time Management​

    • 4 - 90 minutes practices per week​

  • Team Commitment​

    • 1 swim meet per month

    • Wear club gear to school once a week

    • Leads one cheer at practice

  • Character, Personal, Social Development​

    • Respects teammates

    • Follows workouts given by coaches and leads lane in workout

    • Meet swimmers from other teams

    • Congratulate swimmers in other lanes after race completes

  • Nutrition Goals​

    • Understand what a healthy snack is

    • At least two servings of vegtables a day

    • At least one serving of fruit a day

    • Limits the number of sugary drinks other than sports drinks and juice per day

SENIOR TEAM 1

    • Share a word of good luck to swimmers in your race

    • Meet other swimmers from different teams

  • Nutrition Goals​

    • Brings water bottle to practice.

    • Eats healthy snacks

    • Does not drink or soda of any kind

    • Can demonstrate what a proper portion size for each food group on the food pyramid

  • Promotion Expectations​

    • Achieve a "AA" USA Swimming time standard in four events

    • Compete in all events available for their age group

SENIOR TEAM 2

  • Entrance requirements

    • Achieve a "AA" USA Swimming time standard in four events

    • Compete in all events available for their age group

  • Time Management​

    • 5 - 90 minutes practices per week​

    • 1 swim meet per month

    • Leads Cheers at meets

    • Assist Coaches with Team Attendence

    • Demonstrate leadership skills

    • Meet other swimmers from different teams

    • Can demonstrate what a healthy balanced meal contains
